Henry Art Gallery
2014
Identity system
Execution of a brand refresh for the Henry Art Gallery under the direction of Jayme Yen. The Henry is an art museum in Seattle dedicated to contemporary art, artists, and ideas. The refresh was inspired by how contemporary art itself works: questioning, destabilizing established meanings, and responding to surrounding contexts. The “logo” uses the shorthand name for the museum, “Henry,” in any typeface to reflect the multiple voices and offerings representing the institution.
